We offer three types of passenger service:
* One-way
* Round-trip or charter
* Driver only (you provide the vehicle)
Note: You can also use this service for door-to-door pickup and delivery of parcels and small packages.
We focus our energy in providing this service in the "underserved" smaller towns and semi-rural areas surrounding the urban core.
Because of limited availability, we recommend that you request your ride at least 24 hours in advance so that we can locate a driver for you.
Our standard rate is $1.00/mile plus $5.00/quarter hour. We use Google Maps in calculating these values. Drivers and passengers are free to offer a higher or lower rate ("congestion pricing").
If the ride is shared with a third party (the way ride-sharing was meant to be), a 25% discount is applied.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MC and Amex). We also accept CashApp, including Bitcoin, US and MX currency.
Frequent riders are urged to apply for a credit line. Invoices are sent weekly.
Payment is collected when the ride is confirmed. There is no cancellation fee if the ride is cancelled at least three hours prior to the ride start time.
Package or To-Go Deliveries
This service is limited to our Aggregated Delivery Service (ADS)
We have targeted three market segments for this service:
* Multi-location retail stores who need to deliver their products from any store in our service area directly to the buyer.
For example, a customer may purchase an item in Store A but Store B has the item in stock. Store A would complete the transaction. We would pickup the item from Store B and deliver it to the customer.
Our standard rate for this service is $5.00/pickup plus $1.00/mile plus $6.00/quarter hour of travel time. We use Google Maps in calculating these values.
+ Regularly-scheduled pickup and delivery of documents. Rates are negotiated based on volume.
* "Room Service" for hotels and motels surrounding airports and business districts.
Many hotels and motels do not offer room service, or their room service ends at a particular time. We provide delivery of takeout items on weekends betwen 10 pm and 4 am.
We also pickup items from selected retail stores, such as pharmacies and "vape" stores, that are open during these hours.
HEB/Walmart Delivery
Request grocery pickup from HEB and Walmart in Harlingen for delivery to your home or office. Until further notice, this service is only available on Mondays and Thursdays with destinations limited to Lyford and Raymondville.
To use this service, order online with your account at HEB or Walmart. Make sure you select the HEB store located at 613 S. Exp. 83. Select curbside pick-up no later than 2:00 pm and add a note that GoKart will pick-up your items.
We use thermal bags for perishables. Please do not order items that melt quickly, such as ice cream.
